In this portrait photo I attempted to show both a warm and cold atmosphere, as she is meant to be at home in her surroundings, but the expression and prop of a hoover, is meant to create a tense atmosphere, to echo the atmosphere which I attempt to create in the film.
In this landscape photo, I decided to make the photo colder in the use of lighting and create more space around the protagonist, to show her loneliness and her size (small). I attempted to make the prop appear bigger in this photo to show the weight/burden that she is carrying and again convey the tense atmosphere.
